Longing Landscapes | 2007

At a certain point in life, I left my childhood home, and I had not yet found my adult home. This series of photographs depicts that point in my life when I could not go back to the childhood home, nor had I found a new one. It is about the longing for a home to call one’s own, and how, at certain times in life, there are either physical obstacles at play or too far a distance yet to travel.

This series was photographed digitally with a tilt shift lens and infrared filter at night.
