This book tells the story of a relationship that started 20 years ago. What remains most profound was our continued correspondence over two decades, regardless of where or who we were at the time. We always returned to one another, in the same natural way that might affect the tides. The following pages are a series of still moments from our relationship. The text is compiled from her letters and my diary entries. We were only together 20 days over 20 years.
